After doing A Sound of Ancient Horns, and running across General Poruk which apparently was a part of that quest, I was all of a sudden wondering why it wouldn't simply indicate to me that I was nearby him. Then, I remember thinking back that there are at least a few quests or missions even which require numerous goals which you could go to at any time, but they are always shown in order, and you are never directed to the others even though you may be traveling by them.

My suggestion is simple, make it so that all goals on the map are shown with different colored arrows and markers, then differentiate in the goal log with the corresponding color on a bullet point. Standard goals are always shown green as per the usual, then include blue, red, yellow, purple, and orange, then white but I doubt there are any with more than six tasks to complete or would be in the future.

Not only is this just a bit helpful, but, it would be nice to see more divergent quests in the future which require a few more steps rather than in order running one goal to the next as they happen, which are a large portion of them.

As well and on the side, noting certain quest goals which are lined through with a hard line when you can leave the zone and it remains completed, and a dashed line (called the "soft line") when you have to complete the next portion(s) of that quest still within that zone. This has caused me a few slight problems of just not paying attention, and may be a better indicator for people to assure they do not cross zone boundaries when escorting people from one location to another, which this expansion seems to have done a lot more of. Soft lines then turn to hard lines when you are free to leave the area and have them completed.

And on the final note to help with that and make sure you do not accidentally leave for something stupid, a small indicator box which says you currently have more goals which must be completed in order to fulfill the requirements of soft completed goals, then asks if you would like to continue to the next area.
